AFRICAN PRESIDENT

Foreword

In the late 20th century, many African countries moved towards independence from their colonial past. For many of these countries, it would prove to be a challenging path to democracy and national sovereignty. Countries drawn up on maps by foreign empires rarely create peaceful boundries. The leaders of these new nations had to heal fractured communities, and build infrastructure, while supressing violent rebellions and avoiding assassination. African President is a fictionalized game that respectfully tries to recreate the difficult circumstances faced by some of history's lesser known leaders. Please enjoy.

Welcome new African President. It is 1965, and you are the newly elected leader of a small African country that has just gained independance from a European Empire. All of your actions will have consequences to your nation. What will your first order of business be?
